Dating Confessional: How Big Of An Age Gap Are You Comfortable With?
Is age just a number? Well, it depends who you're asking—and how old they are. Do two people have a better chance at lasting love who are similar in age, or do maturity and compatibility matter most? Maybe Lin Manuel Miranda really said it best: "Love is love is love is love is love is love." Here, 20 people share their own opinions on the subject.

You do you.

I consider an age difference of 10+ years weird.
I myself wouldn’t date someone with an age difference of more than 3 years.

There is something objectively wrong with anyone who prefers to date people half their age. I'm a very open minded person, but that is obvious.

This makes sense.

Personally, 6 years.
Idk why I measure it this way, but my brother is 12 years older than me and it would feel extremely weird to date someone who’s closer in age to him than to me.

"Young, young, dumb and broke."

Once you date a guy a couple of years older than yourself, guys your own age look young and stupid.

I'm 33 and I agreed to go on a date with a 25 yr old this weekend. I feel weird about it but figure what the heck, this kid has his sh*t together more than a lot of guys my own age.

People take a lot of things into consideration.

As an 18 year old, I couldn't date a 45+ year old. ESPECIALLY because my mum had me so young. A 12 year age gap would be the absolute max for me.
