What It's Really Like Growing Up With Parents Who Foster Kids
Fostering a child is one of the most loving things you can do. There are plenty of kids out there who are unable to live with their own families and need attention and support. When we hear the term "foster parent" we usually think of the parents of the household. However, there are sometimes biological children already living in these homes. These confessions reveal their perspective.

A very selfless request.

I wish my parents would actually watch and take care of their foster kid instead of me

So wonderful.

My parents adopted 2 of the 28 foster kids they had. I can't imagine life without them.

Sounds like a party.

I've got 3 brothers and 2 sisters. My parents also foster children, about 4 at a time. We always have a full house!

It's normal to feel a bit jealous.

I'm 16 and my parents want to foster a child. It was sprung on me this morning, whilst on holiday as well. I'm just scared that my parents are going to pay more attention the the foster child.

My parents have adopted six kids through the foster care system and we're only middle class. Children are expensive, but there are ways to make it work.

Someone's getting grounded...

Omg omg my parents are taking care of a foster kid and he called 911 and said the car was on fire. The police are on their way now!
