Their heartbreaking confessions show how hard it is to be with someone you love during their final moments.

So heartbreaking.

Each time I have to explain to a family member or friend that my mom has stage four cancer and is in hospice it makes it even more real to me. I don't wish this on anyone.

So scary.

The hardest part of hospice is never knowing if that’s the last time I’m seeing my mom alive.

When it rains, it pours.

Both of my parents are in the hospital, and my mom is going into Hospice...I have nowhere to go and my heart is breaking into a million pieces before my eyes.

So sad.

My mother is in hospice care and doesn't have long to live.. Every time I see her laying on the couch sleeping all I see is her in a coffin

North New Hyde Park, New York, US

The literal worst.

Had to put my 58 y/o mom on hospice care yesterday.
No one ever told me how hard it is to prepare to say goodbye to a parent.

So scary and sad.

My dad is home from the hospital under hospice care. I am so scared I'm going to be the one to find him dead. =(
