True Life: I'm An Asexual Lesbian
The content below was sourced from real posts on the Whisper app, the largest online community where people anonymously share real thoughts and feelings. Join the community to continue the conversation today. We live in a world where everyone has labels for everyone and everyone feels the need to put everyone in a box. When it comes to sexual orientation, sometimes the people with less common sexual identities deal with confusing looks and tons of questions. These women are asexual lesbians and they have plenty to say about their lifestyle and how other people perceive them. Their confessions will show what life is really like for them. Allow these stories to be a small reminder that there's no 'one size fits all' approach to love or sexuality.

Our differences are what make us so wonderful.

I'm as gay as they come, but sex... it makes me uncomfortable. I really do admire and love women. I just want to love them in other ways besides sex.

Wow.

As an asexual lesbian, I find it amusing when people say "You haven't found the right man to be with"

Sounds about right.

I dislike online dating but I think that has to do with the fact that I'm both asexual and a lesbian, so it makes dating a tad difficult.

It's good to know how you feel.

I'm an asexual because I'm a lesbian who's attracted to a womans intellect. My attraction is only to females and it's not a sexual attraction. I don't have a sexual attraction to anyone of either sex.

Anything is possible!

I love how people are so utterly fascinated that I'm a lesbian and also asexual and have aspergers and have a fully functional amazing relationship.

Liar liar.

All my friends think I'm a super sexual lesbian who is always having sex. The truth actually is that I'm asexual and a virgin.
