These People Tried & Failed To Give Something Up For Lent
Religious or not, plenty of people give up something they enjoy for 40 days during Lent. It's a great way to stay on track and do something productive for yourself. As these people learned, sometimes it's harder to keep your word than you realize. Read on to see how these people absolutely failed at keeping their Lent promise.

Who knew that potato addictions are real?

I tried giving up potato chips for Lent. A week and a half in and I have cried every day and broke down. I figured out I actually have an addiction and I hate myself for it.

Period cravings are no joke.

I gave up junk food for Lent. Of course I started my period yesterday. Today I had a DQ Oreo blizzard and yesterday ate cheese sticks for dinner. I’m a mess.

Though shall not waste food.

I gave up sugar for Lent, but my parents sent me chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines Day and I ate them today. I feel bad for breaking my Lent promise, but also feel bad if I didn't eat them

Throwing in the towel.

I gave up sweet tea for Lent and we aren't allowed to eat meat on Fridays...I'm doing both right now.

I gave up fast food for Lent. I'm eating it again (I caved in!) and now I have been condemned to a life on the toilet. Karma is for real.

For Lent I gave up watching naughty videos online.

Damn, that didn't last long. I just watched some!
